Travelzoo.com had a killer deal going on a few months ago for The Children’s Discovery Museum in SF. It’s $11 to get in for any age but the deal they had was 2 tickets for $10. Yes please!! So, I grabbed 4 tickets and my sister-in-law grabbed 4 as well. It was totally worth the money.. even if we paid full price it would have been worth it! This place is so cool! You don’t even have to be a kid to enjoy it! There are trails, hands on learning stations, ship wrecked ships and a cool viney fort! It was pouring down rain the day we went, but it really didn’t matter… they have lots of inside stuff to do for hours and hours! I didn’t edit any of these photos because I just didn’t have time to, but I really wanted to get photos up because I wanted to share it with everyone! So, enjoy!
Stay Awesome!
The Greenes

This is a “healthy guy”. the kids had to put in things like exercise, snacks and rest into their shapes and if you did it right, it would light up. Pretty cool!

Then they had a few cooking stations where the kids could make healthy soups made from blocks of different foods. Oh my goodness.. it was so cute to see these kids cook up a storm!

These were sensory stations where the kids could use beakers and funnels to measure beads and things just like scientists do in their labs.

Then we went into another building where they had art crafts such as this fun stuff called “Bubber” made from pumice stone and bees wax. It’s kinda like play dough only a lot cooler!

This was one of my favorite stations!! They had this plexi glass corner filled with colorful paint, aprons, spray bottles and squeegees that the kids to experiment with. Lots of fun!

The girls…and my crazy sis-in-law.

This was the magnet and modpodge room. The kids didnt want anything to do with the modpodge (kinda a good thing) but they played with the magnets for like 45 minutes!

Ariana and Tay measuring themselves based on how high the magnets were. So cute!

Unexplainable…

Then there was the outside… WAAAAY cool!!! Boats, sunken ships, forts, trees, plastic frogs that when you ran a stick over their backs they made different frog sounds, a big bell you could hit and hear from miles around, trails and beautiful landscapes… need I say more? This place is awesome!!

The last building we went to was kinda lame, but could have been cooler if things worked that day. Its called the wave factory where different machines simulate waves and the effect wind has on flags and things.

These two crack me up!

Ok, just kidding, this is the last building we went to! It was just a fun interactive building where the kids could be fisherman and crawl through tunnels and catch crabs.. ya know.. all that cool stuff kids get to do.

Then after all this, we headed to the Peruvian restaurant we go to when we are in SF for some oh so yummy grub!
